Virginia High School Volleyball - Bland County over Narrows

September 18, 2023: Narrows, VA 24124

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) and the host Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), saw Bland County's volleyball squad beat Narrows by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Bland County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to play the Spartans in a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Giles lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Radford (Radford, VA)

The Green Waves now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Montgomery for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, September 19. Narrows will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Auburn (Riner, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
