The Byrd Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Northwood Falcons to 0 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Monday.

The Yellow Jackets now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkway for a Division I District 1 game on Tuesday, September 19. Byrd will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Caddo (Vivian, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-9.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Huntington (Shreveport, LA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Huntington dropped by Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
