The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) and the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), saw Sylacauga's volleyball squad beat Central of Clay County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sylacauga upgrades its record to 14-8 on the year. The Aggies travel to Jemison (Jemison, AL) to play the Panthers in a 5A Area 8 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Jemison lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Chilton County (Clanton, AL)

The Volunteers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Central of Coosa County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
