The Charles City Comets topped the host Waukon Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.

The Comets now have a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waverly-Shell Rock for a Northeast Iowa test on Tuesday, September 19. Charles City will confront a Go-Hawks team coming off a 3-1 league win over Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA). The Go-Hawks record now stands at 6-12.

The Indians (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Cadets enter the Northeast Iowa test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Crestwood gained a win over Kee (Lansing, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
