Next up, the Chiefs battle the Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) in a AA District 2 contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Cherokee will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the contest with a 8-13 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Sevier County (Sevierville, TN).

With the loss, Hancock County drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Indians host West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to battle the Buffaloes in a A District 1 contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 8-3. West Greene lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN)
