In Monday's non-league contest, the Southern Durham Spartans (Durham, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls (Durham, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Spartans battle the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Southern Durham will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC).

With the loss, Cristo Rey Research Triangle moves to 0-3 on the year. The Bulls travel to Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 3-4. Cresset Christian Academy won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC)
