In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Fisher Gators volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Jefferson Buccaneers.
The Gators (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran (Metairie, LA). The Gryphons come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Lutheran lost by John Ehret (Marrero, LA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Buccaneers encounter the Sarah T. Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. West Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Olympians come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA).
