The Foresthill Wildfires held off the host Valley Christian Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Wildfires now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacramento Waldorf for a Central Valley California League test on Tuesday, September 19. Foresthill will confront a Waves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA). The Waves record now stands at 8-0.

The Lions (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Faith Christian (Yuba City, CA). The Lions enter the Sacramento Metropolitan test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Faith Christian was nudged by Buckingham Charter (Vacaville, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
