In Monday's league battle, the host George Stevens Academy Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lee Academy Pandas.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons come into the Class C battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Woodland lost by Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Pandas clash with the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a Class C battle, on Wednesday, September 20. Lee Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME).
