The Hayfield Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mount Vernon Majors to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Justice for a National game on Wednesday, September 20. Hayfield will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Falls Church (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.
The Majors (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms enter the National game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Annandale dropped by Edison (Alexandria, VA), 3-1, in a league game.
