The L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Henrico Warriors to 1 in the Skyhawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Skyhawks now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colonial Heights for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 20. L.C. Bird will meet a Colonials team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 7-0.
The Warriors (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Patriots enter the Capital game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Patrick Henry defeated Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
