The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) and the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), saw Keota's volleyball squad nip Tri-County by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Keota upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Eagles host Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Hillcrest Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA)

The Trojans now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to English Valleys for a South Iowa Cedar bout on Thursday, September 21. Tri-County will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Bears record now stands at 8-7.
