The Bulldogs now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fayette County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Lamar County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-11.

The Yellowjackets (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Curry (Jasper, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 14-8 record. In their last outing, Curry notched a victory over Haleyville (Haleyville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
