North Carolina High School Volleyball - Berry over West Charlotte

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), saw Berry's volleyball squad beat West Charlotte by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Berry upgrades its record to 2-9 on the year. The Cardinal travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a So Meck 4A bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Olympic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Garinger (Charlotte, NC)

The Lions now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host North Mecklenburg for a Queen City 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 19. West Charlotte will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.
