The Straughn Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pleasant Home Eagles to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.

The Tigers now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brockton for a 3A Area 3 game on Tuesday, September 19. Straughn will meet a Gamecocks team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Zion Chapel (Jack, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 6-9.

The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-12 record.
