The Wesson Cobras volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves to 0 in the Cobras league victory on Monday.
The Cobras now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a Class 3 Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 19. Wesson will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Salem (Tylertown, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-6.
The Blue Waves (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Franklin County (Meadville, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 3 Region 7 game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Franklin County was dropped by Wesson (Wesson, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
