In Monday's non-league battle, the host Providence Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans.
The Lions (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Red Hawks come into the Independent Metro Athletic battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Minnehaha Academy achieved victory over Breck (Minneapolis, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
