Illinois High School Volleyball - Seneca tips Reed-Custer

The Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) volleyball nudged the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Seneca betters its record to 13-5 on the year. The Fighting Irish host Woodland (Streator, IL) to face the Warriors in a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 21. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 11-5. Woodland won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lexington (Lexington, IL)

The Comets now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Coal City for a Illinois Central Eight outing on Tuesday, September 19. Reed-Custer will face a Coalers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Morris (Morris, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 10-10.
