Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), 49-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Liberty improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Mountain Lions now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brophy College Prep for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26.
