Maine High School Soccer - Foxcroft Academy knocks off Piscataquis

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Piscataquis Pirates.
The Ponies (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME). The Lynx enter the Class C - North outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Mattanawcook tipped Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 5-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Piscataquis will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Red Devils enter the outing with a 3-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME).
