The Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) soccer nipped the host Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 21. Mount Tabor will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Davie moves to 4-3 on the year. The War eagles travel to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC) to encounter the Titans in a challenge on Monday, September 23. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 10-2. West Forsyth won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)
