The South Caldwell Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Alexander Central Cougars to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Foard for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. South Caldwell will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Alexander Central drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 7-3.
