The Blacksburg Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Giles Spartans to 0 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bruins now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. Blacksburg will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Giles drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to play the Bears in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 5-4.
