Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Tuscola improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Franklin (Franklin, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 14-0. Franklin won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)

The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Buncombe for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19.
