In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Reed-Custer Comets soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Grant Park Dragons.
The Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL). The Cardinals enter the non-league outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, St. Anne was overwhelmed by Clifton Central (Clifton, IL), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Dragons confront the Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) in a River Valley outing, on Thursday, September 19. Grant Park will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Momence Athletics enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 6-1 league win over St. Anne (St. Anne, IL).
