The Providence Grove Patriots held off the host Uwharrie Charter Eagles soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league game.

Next, the Patriots face the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game, on Friday, September 20. Providence Grove will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record.
