The Bowdon Red Devils softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Darlington Tigers to 7 in the Red Devils non-league win on Wednesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trion for a 1A D-II Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 19. Bowdon will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Darlington moves to 1-15 on the season. The Tigers travel to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to confront the Rebels in a 1A D-I Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 19. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 9-7. Haralson County won 13-1 in their recent league battle against Model (Rome, GA)
