The Buford Wolves softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting River Ridge Knights to 0 in the Wolves non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wolves now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a 6A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 19. Buford will confront a Bears team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Bears record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, River Ridge moves to 7-10 on the season. The Knights host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to confront the Wolverines in a 5A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 20. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 8-10. Woodstock lost 7-1 in their recent league battle against Lassiter (Marietta, GA)
