Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) and the host Bothell Cougars (Bothell, WA), observed Mercer Island's volleyball team top Bothell by a tally of 3-1.
The Islanders (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Puyallup (Puyallup, WA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Puyallup beat Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars meet the Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA) in a 4A KingCo contest, on Monday, October 7. Bothell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
