In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Pike Road Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Brewbaker Tech Rams.

The Patriots (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Auburn got by Central (Phenix City, AL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Brewbaker Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Golden Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL).
