In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Cruz Dragons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Roycemore Griffins.

The Dragons (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Beacon Academy (Evanston, IL). The Trailblazers enter the Lake Shore Athletic challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Beacon Academy was tipped by Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Griffins meet the Cruz Dragons (Chicago, IL) in a Lake Shore Athletic challenge, on Monday, September 30. Roycemore will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
