North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Lincoln over Foard

In Wednesday's league challenge, the host East Lincoln Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Foard Tigers.

The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the Western Foothills 3A challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Stephens was beaten by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Foard will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
