In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Summit K2 Dragons.

The Pumas (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond (Richmond, CA). The Oilers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Richmond got by Kennedy (Richmond, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Summit K2 will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Gauchos enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Swett (Crockett, CA).
