With the win, North Panola improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Palmer (Marks, MS) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Dragons go into the battle with a record of 2-4.

The Dragons now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a Class 2A Region 2 battle on Thursday, September 19. Palmer will encounter a Urchins squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Urchins record now stands at 19-6.
