Virginia High School Volleyball - Great Bridge edged by Grassfield

The Great Bridge Wildcats volleyball squad (Chesapeake, VA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the host Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA)

With the win, Grassfield upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Tigers in a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Oscar Smith lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern test, on Tuesday, September 23. Great Bridge will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA).
