Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) and the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), observed Prince George's volleyball team top Hopewell by a count of 3-0.

The Royals (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the Central contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Matoaca notched a victory over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central battle, on Tuesday, September 23. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Colonials go into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA).
