Connecticut High School Football - Ansonia can't hold off Seymour

The Seymour Wildcats got by the host Ansonia Chargers football team by a score of 21-14 in Thursday's league test.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a Naugatuck Valley - Tier 2 test on Friday, September 26. Seymour will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 16-0 league win over St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Ansonia moves to 1-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT) to face the Spartans in a Naugatuck Valley - Tier 1 challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Waterbury Career Academy won 28-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Crosby (Waterbury, CT)
