In Thursday's league challenge, the host Timberlake Christian Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the C.H. Friend Red Jackets.

The Tornadoes (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Westover Christian Academy lost by Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Jackets play the Victory Baptist Academy Royals (Fieldale, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. C.H. Friend will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.
