California High School Volleyball - Pitman over Downey

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Pitman Pride volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Downey Knights.

With the win, Pitman improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pride travel to Modesto (Modesto, CA) to face the Panthers in a test on Tuesday, September 23. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-6. Modesto lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Turlock (Turlock, CA)

The Knights now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enochs for a test on Tuesday, September 23. Downey will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
