In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Poly Parrots.

The Dons (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers come into the challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Grant beat Monroe (North Hills, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Parrots now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arleta for a test on Monday, September 22. Poly will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
