Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Redeemer Classical Griffins (Harrisonburg, VA) and the host Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA), observed Redeemer Classical's volleyball team top Regents by a count of 2-0.

The Griffins (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Temple Christian notched a victory over Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors (Luray, VA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Regents will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
