In Thursday's league challenge, the host Wilmington Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Streator Bulldogs.
Next up, the Wildcats face the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Wilmington will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions go into the game with a 2-9 record.
