The Alameda Hornets got by the host Encinal Jets flag football team by a score of 13-7 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the James Logan Colts (Union City, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Alameda will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Colts go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 12-0 league loss to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA).
The Jets (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Piedmont was nipped by San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 18-0, in a league test.
