La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Albany Academy Bears (Albany, NY), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, La Salle Institute moves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-2. Broadalbin-Perth 1-1 in their recent league test against South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY)

The Bears now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohonasen for a Colonial Council outing on Thursday, September 25.
