Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Chattanooga Christian Chargers (Chattanooga, TN) and the host Silverdale Academy Seahawks (Chattanooga, TN), saw Chattanooga Christian's soccer squad triumph over Silverdale Academy by a count of 8-1.

The Chargers (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Girls Preparatory School (Chattanooga, TN). The Bruisers come into the D II-AA East match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Girls Preparatory School nipped Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 2-0, in a league match.

The Seahawks now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame for a D II-A East 2 match on Tuesday, September 23. Silverdale Academy will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-4.
