Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) and the host Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), saw Gadsden's soccer squad triumph over Deming by a count of 11-1.

The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights enter the 5A District 3 battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Organ Mountain notched a victory over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) in a 4A District 3 battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Deming will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
