Indiana High School Soccer - New Albany overwhelmed by Floyd Central

In Thursday's league contest, the Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) soccer team routed the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), by a count of 9-1.

Next, the Highlanders face the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 20. Floyd Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Colonels enter the contest with a 1-9 record after their 4-0 league loss to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY).

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus East (Columbus, IN). The Olympians enter the Hoosier Hills contest with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Columbus East topped Hauser (Hope, IN), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
