In Thursday's league outing, the host Hillcrest Huskies soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the West Jordan Jaguars.

The Huskies (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against West (Salt Lake City, UT). The Panthers come into the 5A Region 4 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, West edged Hunter (West Valley City, UT), 4-2, in a league test.

The Jaguars now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Taylorsville for a 5A Region 4 test on Monday, September 22. West Jordan will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-11.
