Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) and the host Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), saw Westfall's soccer squad hold off Zane Trace by a score of 2-1.

The Mustangs (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Madison Plains (London, OH). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Madison Plains nipped Northeastern (Springfield, OH), 4-0, in a league test.

The Pioneers now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Piketon for a Scioto Valley test on Monday, September 22. Zane Trace will meet a Redstreaks team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Redstreaks record now stands at 4-7.
