In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting St. Francis Red Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Nichols Vikings.
The Red Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY). The Steelers enter the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Lackawanna tipped Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY), 12-0, in a non-league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host International Prep at Grover for a test on Monday, September 22. Nichols will clash with a Presidents team coming off a 11-1 league win over City Honors (Buffalo, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 7-0.
